When families are not in a position to ensure their safety and wellbeing, some children will be placed in the out-of-home care system. Our research aims to strengthen outcomes for children and young people in out-of-home care while meeting the needs of families, staff, carers and workers. It stresses the value of finding opportunities to strengthen relationships and connections to enhance outcomes.
